Cardiology Consultations

Cardiology Consultations at Nieborowice Hospital provide high-standard specialist care and reliable diagnostics for heart and cardiovascular conditions — with a clear plan for treatment and follow-up.

Cardiology Consultations at Nieborowice Hospital were created for patients who expect a high standard of care and prompt, evidence-based assessment of heart and cardiovascular health. Consultations are suitable both for patients with new symptoms (such as palpitations, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, reduced exercise tolerance, dizziness or fainting) and for those who require ongoing management of recognised cardiovascular conditions.

Consultations are provided by Jarosław J. Fedorowski, Univ. Prof., MD, PhD, MBA, FACP, FESC — a specialist in Internal Medicine and Cardiology with extensive clinical experience gained in Poland, the United States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. This international practice, combined with modern diagnostic methods, supports a thorough and reliable medical assessment.

During a single visit, patients receive:

  • a medical consultation (detailed history and clinical examination, with discussion of symptoms and medical background),

  • a 12-lead ECG with interpretation (assessment of rhythm and conduction, including possible arrhythmias and ischaemic changes),

  • cardiac echocardiography using POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound) — a focused ultrasound examination performed immediately during the consultation, allowing real-time assessment of cardiac function and valves, and identification of clinically relevant abnormalities.

POCUS is used in many leading cardiology centres worldwide. Its practical advantage is that the ultrasound assessment is performed during the consultation, enabling results and clinical conclusions to be discussed immediately, without the need for an additional appointment solely for imaging. Based on the collected findings, the patient receives a clear plan: recommendations for further tests if needed, treatment options, and an appropriate follow-up schedule.
