Plastic and reconstructive surgery at Nieborowice Hospital focuses on restoring lost body structures after cancer treatment, injuries, or congenital anomalies. A particular area of activity is breast reconstruction after mastectomy, scar correction, reconstruction of tissue defects, and reparative procedures following trauma. The aesthetic result is important—but always subordinate to functional and medical goals. Where clinically justified, we also perform procedures of an aesthetic nature.

Led by Prof. Adam Maciejewski and Prof. Łukasz Krakowczyk, the team comprises specialists united by a common goal: helping patients with the most challenging surgical problems—oncologic, post-traumatic, or congenital. In their daily practice, they employ advanced microvascular and reconstructive surgical techniques, supporting patients at every stage of treatment. The team also includes specialists in maxillofacial, oncologic, and plastic surgery.
